The Frontier Adventure DTS (FADTS)

Under the experienced leadership of Charles Ariston and Rod Thorpe, come and have your life turned upside down, learning to love Jesus; learning to love your neighbour; and learning to love the lost - especially the least reached. The FADTS will be sending teams out to some of the more exciting & challenging frontier mission locations around the world. We are still prayerfully considering our final outreach locations, but in line with our Neighbourhood to Nations vision, they will surely land somewhere within the 10/40 window. That could mean Japan, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Ethiopia, Jordan or Morocco... or anywhere else in between.
Come join us for the frontier adventure of a lifetime!

Till DTS starts again!

SPECIAL EVENT

Member Care Course

YWAM Canberra 6th-24th May 2024

Do you desire to help the missionaries that you care for:

  • thrive and grow in their personal lives and ministry?

  • start well, move safely through difficult transitions and finish strong?

  • be able to face challenges, stress or crisis?

  • remain in their calling rather than leave prematurely?

  • be all that God wants them to be?

If so, then this course is for you!

JOIN THE TEAM

There are as many ways to serve God as there are individuals, and we would love to help you find your expression.  From youth outreaches, to making disciples, to creating websites, we will help you find your place in the things God is doing- not only here, but in the nations.  Let’s start the conversation and see if you’d like to come join our community here at YWAM Canberra.

ABOUT US

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an interdenominational, global Christian missions organization run entirely by volunteers with the desire to know God and make God known. YWAM Canberra is one of the many bases that are part of the YWAM international and YWAM Australia families.

Despite being the National Capital of Australia, not everyone has heard of Canberra! Canberra is a city of almost 5 hundred thousand people, nestled in the Southern Highlands, surrounded by forests and the Snowy Mountains. The city itself is a beautiful mixing pot of urban and rural lifestyles, with splashes of international flavors. Canberra hosts incredible restaurants, wineries, stunning National Parks, snow speckled mountain ranges, national and international festivals and Australia's Parliament House.

Our YWAM Canberra base was established in the 1960's on a gorgeous 6 ha (15 Acres) property only 8km from the city center. Here at YWAM Canberra we're all about creating a healthy, God centered community that loves our local and international neighbors in practical ways through local connections, training schools and mercy ministries. If you'd like to learn more about us and what we have going on we'd love to hear from you!
